Zwei Katzen is named after a painting by one of my favorite artists, Franz Marc. I also happen to live with two cats, Miu Miu (grey tabby) and Vivien (black and white). I am a museum educator and event planner with over 15 years of experience. I have prepared programming for preschool and elementary school students involving culture, science and art exhibits. I have conducted research, developed curriculum and taught programs in a museum setting including lectures on collections, interactive gallery activities and the creation of art projects with the students. I have planned events ranging from intimate cocktail parties for corporate clients to large scale all-day dedication ceremonies involving alumni, donors and students for academic clients. I have worked with the National Park Service at sites including Longfellow National Historic Site, Acadia National Park, Cape Cod National Seashore and the Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace. I have worked for museums including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Boston Children’s Museum, the Harvard Museum of Natural History, the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology and The Corcoran Gallery in Washington, DC and most recently as a volunteer at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, NY.

Thanks – hopefully I’ll start blogging again – been just lurking for awhile as work that pays me overwhelms. Stay tuned for new posts starting in July.
